Response to Ch 6

I've been applying Allen's 2-minute rule over this past week, and it is actually very effective. It helps to get rid of the small nagging things such as washing a few dishes or sending a followup email. That, and the do, delegate, or defer, has helped my todo list stay up to date and not become flooded with overdue tasks. One general tip I've found is having a daily review. There is often a few small tasks that don't necessarily get completed by the end of the day, and they become marked as overdue (such as tasks that were deferred from before). By the time you do a weekly review, your todo list will have been dominated by overdue tasks and you won't even be able to see your current tasks for the day. Allen's tip on getting a real inbox has improved my task tracking system as well!
